Video prompts are not just longer image prompts. Because the model has to keep every frame consistent with the last, complexity works against you — the more elements a scene has, the more chances something flickers, morphs, or drifts. The single most useful habit is to describe one subject doing one thing.

A workable structure: subject, action, setting, camera, mood. For example, "a ceramic coffee cup on a wooden table, steam rising slowly, morning light from a window, slow push-in, calm" gives the model a clear subject, one motion (steam), a defined setting and light, one camera move, and a tone — without competing details.

Leave out what you will add later. On-screen text, logos, and precise brand colours are better handled as overlays in your editor; asking the model for them usually produces garbled lettering and wastes a generation.

Specify the camera deliberately. "Static shot", "slow orbit", "handheld", and "push-in" all produce meaningfully different results, and picking one keeps the model from inventing erratic movement. If you want the subject still and only the camera moving, say so.

Expect to iterate. Generate two or three variations of the same prompt, keep the best, and adjust one thing at a time — changing the whole prompt between attempts makes it hard to learn what actually helped.
