How to Write Social Captions for AI Videos That Get Seen

The text you post alongside a video decides whether it gets found and whether people act. It is separate from the on-screen captions, and it is worth writing deliberately.
A simple structure: a first line that makes a promise or asks a question, one or two lines of context, a clear call to action, then a few relevant hashtags. Only the first line is visible before "more", so make it count.
Platforms differ. TikTok favours short, conversational captions with a few focused hashtags. Instagram Reels captions can be slightly longer and benefit from a clear call to action. YouTube Shorts titles act like search terms, so put the main topic words near the front.
Be specific about the topic. "Quick latte art tip" is easier to match to what someone is searching for than "check this out". Specific words are what search and recommendation systems can actually index.
Do not overload hashtags. A handful of relevant tags beats a long list of generic ones. Mix one or two broad tags with a few specific ones.
Disclose AI where a platform asks for it. Many platforms have a label for AI-generated content, and using it is the safest way to keep your account in good standing.
