How to Create a Transparent PNG From Any Photo
A transparent PNG is just an image file where the background has been removed and replaced with transparency instead of a solid color — useful for placing a subject into logos, presentations, other designs, or print materials without a visible background box around it.
To create one: upload your photo to PixelloAI, let the AI remove the background automatically, and download the result — PNG is the default export format for background-removed images since it's the format that actually supports transparency (unlike JPEG).
If you open the downloaded file and see a checkerboard pattern in an image editor, that's the standard way transparency is displayed — it means the background truly has no pixels, not a placeholder color.
One thing to watch for: if you paste a transparent PNG into a document or slide that itself has a colored background, the subject will now sit on whatever color that document has — which is the whole point, but worth double-checking that it looks intentional rather than accidental.
