Understanding Amazon's Product Image Requirements
Amazon has specific, enforced requirements for the main product image on a listing — most notably, a pure white (RGB 255,255,255) background for the primary image, with the product filling most of the frame and no added text, logos, or watermarks on that specific image.
AI background removal is the fastest way to meet the pure-white-background rule from an ordinary product photo: remove whatever the product was originally photographed against, then fill with solid white using the background tool.
Secondary/gallery images on Amazon have more flexibility — lifestyle shots, infographics with text, and size/comparison charts are all allowed there, just not as the primary image.
Because Amazon actively enforces these rules and can suppress listings that don't comply, it's worth double-checking your primary image against the current requirements before publishing, since marketplace policies do get updated periodically.
